Vancouver Sun Run 2009

Hi guys - This is going to be the biggest SUN RUN EVER! We have 20 people already signed up for the running clinic in Vancouver & hope to have participants from all over North America this year. The Vancouver Sun Run is Canada's biggest and best community run that takes place Sunday, April 19 at 9 a.m. This run is the second largest timed 10K in the world and the third largest timed run of any distance in the world. A record 59,179 Sun Runners celebrated the 24th year of the event in 2008.

If you are thinking of doing the 12 Week Challenge this year - what a great goal to have to finish the competition. A 10 kilometre run is a do-able run for anybody & many people walk the whole thing. All levels & athletic abilities welcome! Please invite friends & family to join our team as well - the more the merrier!

Let's get some agent rates for the out of towners at some hotels in downtown YVR - or if you have friends to stay with even better!  LAX, YYJ, YEG & YYC you guys are super close - only a short flight! If you go to YVR Head Office for work try to match up your dates.

Registration details below. If you register BEFORE FEBRUARY 6th you will get the Early Bird registration fee of $35. If you register after that date it will be $40 bones. The last day to register on the Flight Centre Team is MARCH 6, 2009.

Go to www.sunrun.com and click on 'Race Registration'

Select 'Teams and Members: Corporate'

Select 'JOIN a Corporate Team':

Click 'Add to my Cart'

Select 'Create New Account'. This will allow you to access your race details and information at any time. If you already have an account this year, enter your login name and password.

After you have created the account, enter the required personal information and remember your 'Login Name' and 'Password'

Fill in the details on this page:

Click 'Continue' to proceed with your personal registration

then this screen comes up: just continue:

Select your Corporate Team from the drop-down list of teams: (Flight Centre)

Enter your Team Password (case and space-sensitive): "flight2009"

Enter the required information (10k time, t-shirt size, age category)

Select 'Continue' once you have entered all of your information

Select 'Edit' if you want to change any information, select 'Add Another One' if you'd like to add another registration, select 'Remove' if you want to delete the registration, or select 'Continue' to proceed to checkout.

Accept the waiver and enter credit card information if you are paying now.

Select 'Continue' to complete your registration(s).
